Christian Community Cupboard

Mission Statement
"To work with God in serving the needs of others by
providing food, clothing and spiritual care."

Two weeks ago the Food Pantry served its largest-ever number, more than four dozen people.  The people of Washington United Methodist Church responded generously in restocking the Pantry shelves.

Today (9/2/2010) the pantry served one person.  Go figure.

An outcome of this week’s low demand is, there are currently NO urgent or moderate restocking needs.   But when it is time to resume stocking --

Grocery donations can be placed in the shopping basket beside the water fountain in the church narthex.  Cash donations are also very welcome.  Cash can be placed in the coffee can in the shopping basket, or checks can go in the church offering marked for "Food Basket".

Thanks for caring for the less fortunate people in our community.

Donations may be brought to the church on
Sunday or Monday through Thursday,
between 8:00 AM - Noon.
